Pastor Jason Banar

Born in Salem, Ohio, Jason returned to his home state in 2023 after migrating to the south with his parents as a teenager.  When God called him into youth ministry in 1996, he attended JSMI School of Ministry in Crowley, Texas.  From there he worked to receive his ordination through the Assemblies of God.  He began in ministry as a children's pastor and then became a youth and children's pastor where he was content to serve forever.  However, God had other plans and prompted him to step into the Senior Pastor position.  He has also trained to be an Acts 2 Facilitator with the Assembly of God's church revitalization program.

He served 20 years at his previous church in SC before God miraculously called him to North Bloomfield Assembly.  He knows, without a doubt, that this is where God desires him to be and he eagerly anticipates fulfilling God's purposes here with the people of North Bloomfield and the surrounding areas.  He believes that we ALL have a job to do within the local body, and everyone should be using their giftings for the glory of God and the furtherment of His Kingdom.  That's why you won't be around him very long before you hear, "Don't just sit there - DO SOMETHING!" 

He is married to his "bride" and help-mate of 30 years, Jennie.  They are committed to serving God and fulfilling His calling, no matter where it takes them.  They have 3 amazing children and 3 beautiful grandchildren.  He'll be the first to tell you, he's a blessed man.

Jennie Banar

Jennie Banar - Church Secretary

Jennie has many years of administrative experience and enjoys organizing events and working behind the scenes assisting the different ministries of the church.  She strives to maintain Excellence in Ministry both personally and professionally as the representative of North Bloomfield Assembly to the community. 

Outside of the office, you will find her homeschooling their teenage son, crocheting, playing games, or riding motorcycles with her husband.  She loves her family and counts it a privilege to serve Jesus.

Audra Fenton

Audra Fenton - Worship Leader

Audra works full-time for the local school, but makes the time to use her vocal talents in service to the Lord.  She serves as our interim worship leader planning the song service each week.  Her desire is that all would embrace a Lifestyle of Worship both corporately and individually...inside and outside the walls of the church.
